CasualConservative.com was established in 2004 by three
guys in their mid-to-late-twenties (an ex-Marine, an-ex Navy
Sailor, and an advertising major) who were tired of the
liberal/leftist/Socialist leanings of Seattle’s political scene.
We noticed that there weren’t many apparel options for
those of us who wanted to proudly showcase our political
leanings, support for our military, and love of our country.
(Unless of course our political leanings were for John Kerry,
our military strategy was appeasement, and the country we
loved was France.)
So we took it upon ourselves to provide an alternative to the
anti-American, anti-military, Commie-loving, Pro-Kerry,
shirts and bumper stickers we saw all over town. It’s a
pretty easy job because there is so much to love about
being an American, and so many reasons to be proud of
our military. As an added bonus, liberals have gone
completely nuts, which just gives us a ton of laughable
material…this stuff basically writes itself!
It has been a fun couple years so far, even though we have
received letters from lawyers, threatened with violence, and
been sent plenty of hate mail along the way! We hope you
enjoy our site, our writings, our views, and most of all our
shirts! Wear them with pride!
